This policy explains what personal information Thrive Technologies, LLC ("we", "us") collects when you visit this website, buy PassMGT, and activate and update it, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Your vault stays on your device

PassMGT is a local-first Windows desktop application. Your credential vault, master password and everything in your vault are stored on your own computer. We do not operate a cloud vault, and your vault contents are never transmitted to us. We never collect your master password, stored passwords, usernames, API secrets, TOTP secrets, secure notes, encryption keys or vault backups.

What we collect

• Purchase information — your name, email address, whether the license is for personal or business use, your business name (if you give one), the order details (quantity, price, discount, tax, order number, invoice) and your billing country and state or province.
• Payment information — card details and your full billing address are collected and processed by our payment provider, Stripe, which also issues your invoice. We never receive or store your card number or security code.
• License and device information — when you activate PassMGT: your license key, an installation identifier, a hashed (one-way) device fingerprint, the device name you choose, the PassMGT version, and your operating system's name and version (for example, Windows 11 Pro 24H2). We use these to enforce your license's device limit, show your devices to you and our support team, and offer the right updates.
• Contact form — your name, email address, topic and message.
• Technical and security information — the IP address and time of requests to our website and licensing service, used to keep them secure (for example, to limit repeated attempts) and to investigate abuse.

Cookies

We use only cookies needed to run the site; we do not use advertising or third-party analytics trackers.

• pmg_attr — remembers which link or campaign brought you to the site, so a purchase can be attributed to it (30 days).
• pmg_o_<order> — lets you download PassMGT after a purchase or after confirming your email and license key (up to 7 days).
• During checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies for payment security and fraud prevention, under Stripe's privacy policy.

How we use information

To process your purchase and issue your invoice; deliver, activate and support your license; send you your license and order emails; answer your messages; keep our website and licensing service secure; and meet legal obligations such as tax record-keeping. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that process it for us, under their own security and privacy commitments:

• Stripe — payments, sales-tax calculation and invoices.
• Our email provider — sends your license and order emails and receives contact-form messages.
• Our hosting provider — runs the website and licensing service.
• Google Maps — may suggest addresses while you type your billing address in checkout (through Stripe).

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights and the security of our services.

How long we keep it

• Orders, invoices and payment records: 7 years, for tax and accounting.
• Your license and its activations: for as long as the license exists, so we can keep providing activation and free updates — unless you ask us to delete your personal information.
• Checkouts that were never paid: 90 days, after which your name and email are removed.
• IP addresses in security and audit logs: 90 days.
• Contact-form messages and support email: up to 2 years.
• Server logs: up to 13 months.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing support@thrivetechnologies.us from the address you used to buy. We will confirm your identity and answer within 45 days. If you ask us to delete it, we remove your name, email, phone, business name and device names from our systems and ask our providers to do the same; your license keeps working, and we keep order amounts and dates as tax law requires.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls with two-factor authentication for our staff, least-privilege database accounts, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects it.

Children

PassMGT is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will notify customers by email.
